The Last Seedlings and the Coming Winter

As winter slowly creeps in, we are gradually closing our planting activities planned for this season. The planted seedlings, as well as those still to be planted, will overwinter in a state of deep physiological dormancy. All the insects and small reptiles living around them will do similarly. The larger warm-blooded birds and mammals are settling in to survive the cold months and continue to roam these places.
