The beeches (Fagus sylvatica), sycamore maples (Acer pseudoplatanus), and rowans (Sorbus aucuparia) planted this April in the Bear Grove in the Hășmaș Mountains have a good start to the vegetation season, with June bringing regular rainfall. This is excellent news, as the months following planting are critical for them: this is when they need to develop a root system strong enough to support a growing stem and an expanding crown.
