Our project aims to restore the degraded Upper Imenti Forest, a critical wet-season habitat for elephants near Mount Kenya. This area has suffered from deforestation over many years, and we are working to reverse this by planting 200,000 native trees to help revive the ecosystem and protect wildlife.

Elephants using the Subuiga underpass(Elephant corridor) which serves as a migratory linkage route to and from Mt Kenya to the Northern landscape (Ngarendare forest- Lewa conservancy- Borana conservancy and beyond).

The Community project,working together with ministry of health Meru county and the Beyond zero campaign had 3 day outreaches in south Imenti offering Basic treatment,family planning and cancer screening and 2days of cancer screening,family planning and blood pressure and blood sugar

Through the support of one of our greatest fans and supporters the trust is in the process of completing the water harvesting system for the Kahuho primary school. This will greatly help harvest rain water ensuring access to clean water and for a longer time.
