Our project aims to restore the degraded Upper Imenti Forest, a critical wet-season habitat for elephants near Mount Kenya. This area has suffered from deforestation over many years, and we are working to reverse this by planting 200,000 native trees to help revive the ecosystem and protect wildlife.

Thanks to the Tree Nation family the trust managed to plant 22,070 seedlings in the rehabilitation site. This was used in beating up(Replacing previously planted lost seedlings) and reducing tree planting spacing from 3 meters to 2 meters as advised by the Kenya Forest Service. The

Community members and the Imenti Patrol Team took part in the tree-growing exercise at the Imenti rehabilitation site. With the ongoing rains were hopeful of great survival of the seedlings.
