Growing my personal Forest to 200 trees

Hi everyone,
I'm Andrea, an independent frontend developer currently based in Thailand.
Earlier this year, I started growing a personal Forest through my portfolio website.
The idea is quite simple: I ask people who explore my work to share meaningful feedback. When someone takes the time to give me useful feedback, I plant two real trees through Tree-Nation — one for their contribution and one as a matching contribution from me.
What started as a small personal project has grown into something I really enjoy maintaining, and my Forest is now at 183 trees.
I'm currently aiming to reach 200 trees by October 10th, as a way to celebrate one year since I moved to Thailand.
The Forest has also become part of the portfolio itself, connecting the feedback I receive with something tangible while continuously helping me improve the website.

I thought I'd share the project here as I'd love to hear what the Tree-Nation community thinks about the idea.
Thanks for having me here!

Hi everyone!

A quick update on my Forest project: I made it to 200 trees on October 10th! 🌳

When I shared this project here, my Forest had 183 trees, so it's great to have reached the milestone I was working towards.

The idea is still the same: encouraging visitors to share meaningful feedback on my portfolio website, with two trees planted for each contribution. It's a small way to connect improving my work as a developer with something positive for the environment.

Reaching 200 trees on October 10th was especially meaningful, as it also marked one year since I moved to Thailand.

Thanks to everyone who encouraged the project here, and especially to Pepijn and the Tree-Nation team for their support!

Onwards to the next milestone! 🌱
