Felix Rumkorem's Story

Felix is a planter from Mnurwar, Biak Island. He has been on the team since we began planting in Mnurwar. Before Felix joined Eden, he was a fisherman but was unable to afford a motorized boat, so he would use a rowboat to catch fish. With the limited income he earned through fishing, he was barely able to provide food and shelter for his family of six. Now, with the consistent income Felix earns by working with us, he has purchased a motorized boat. Felix also has residual income he sets aside in case of an emergency. His emergency savings became critical when Felix's mother recently needed surgery. Felix's emergency savings covered his mother's operation costs, allowing her to become healthy again.
