Our project aims to restore the degraded Upper Imenti Forest, a critical wet-season habitat for elephants near Mount Kenya. This area has suffered from deforestation over many years, and we are working to reverse this by planting 200,000 native trees to help revive the ecosystem and protect wildlife.

Seeds and soil are very vital in ensuring that the tree nurseries are operational and well stocked with trees seedlings.

Juice cartons, milk cartons, milk packets and toilet paper cardboard are being used for our nurseries and school projects to grow tree seedlings. Kenya is now single use plastic free for many items - including tree seedling germination bags - and in all National Parks!
