To mitigate climate change impacts, global efforts focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Key strategies include:

  • Implementing policies aimed at achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
  • Enhancing resilience through adaptation measures that protect vulnerable communities.


International agreements such as the Paris Agreement aim to limit global temperature rise to below 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. However, current trajectories suggest a potential increase of up to 3.1°C by century’s end if no significant action is taken.
