Our project aims to protect the local fauna and restore the habitat surrounding Similipal National Park. This region is crucial as it is home to black tigers, as well as a prime habitat for other wildlife like elephants. Covering 2,750 sq km, Similipal is one of India’s oldest tiger reserves, and safeguarding this area is essential for preserving its unique biodiversity.

Update from the site

"Our on-ground field staff are regularly monitoring the plantation sites ensuring a healthy survival and growth of the planted saplings. Following up on the good monsoon rains, our project caretakers regularly visit the project sites to carry out post-plantation

A rare sight of the Black Tiger or the melanistic tiger spotted at the simlipal tiger reserve also close to our plantation area :)

Happy to see this rare tiger, its very rare to spot them. Most epic to see it trying to climb the tree AWWWW !!
