Flowering wild pear trees, ancient oaks and their seedlings.

Yesterday, together with a group of young, enthusiastic Care2Travel volunteers and the ANANP ( National Agency for Protected Natural Areas) team from Mureș County we planted pedunculate oaks (Quercus robur) on the Breite Plateau ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breite_Oak_Tree_Reserve ). The seedlings, grown from the acorns of the ancient oaks, will replace the Breite oaks that have disappeared over the past century.
