At La Pedregoza we are constantly taking soil samples and foliar samples to check on the trees' nutrition, but also to see if the quantity of carbon, nitrogen and microfauna is improving. Here we are checking in an area where we planted cashew trees (Anacardium occidentale). This allows us to determine whether we need to make changes to the fertilizers we are using, especially since we rely completely on organic fertilizers. I am happy to report that we are seeing a slow, but sure improvement in soil organic material and an increase in #microfauna.
