Lantana camara, an exotic invasive species to be removed and replaced with native tree species. Invasive species like Lantana camara in the area adversely impact the forest health. Lantana camara will often compete with other more desirable species, leading to a reduction in biodiversity.

Next to planting a tree, we ask our daily visitors to help us prepare 10 bags with seeds per person for our tree nursery as a way to compensate for their travels. Here you see our team member Anchala explaining to them how to prepare the perfect bag for the best chance of successful

We have many different types of fruit trees growing on our project site to attract insects and to encourage seed dispersal by birds and bats, among other things. Here you see some deliciously looking guava.

At the moment you can see numerous amounts of trees with beautiful yellow flowers all around Pai. There are several different species of them, but all stunning in their own unique way. This picture was taken today at our main project site. What a treat for the eye!

We are always incredibly grateful to get help from the Thai army during our tree planting activities. They work very fast and know exactly what they are doing, which is of course very helpful to successfully plant as many trees as possible!
