Before the rainy season, pines planted in previous years were delimbed. Delimbing is done to help trees grow faster and to make sure all planted trees have the sunlight they need (as a preventive measure of competing due to other trees' shade) .

In San Miguel Xooltepec, pruning has taken place correctly and fruit trees are doing well, plums among them.

Due to clay soil in Senguio, the trees couldn't retain enough water. The 5 support irrigations weren't enough and some died during the dry season, from January and June. 1,400 new trees are already in the land to replace them.

In Senguio, when raining season started, around 80 kg of Avena Sativa were planted to be used for cattle.

Fruit trees that were planted in 2023 in Senguio, died because of nematodes and fungus. Planting holes were cleaned and sanitized before planting new trees. We expect the new lime tress not to have the same problems because they are a different species from the previously affected

On July 3rd in Senguio, 80 limes were planted in Senguio to replace those that were planted last year and died.

Entregamos paquetes de biopreparados a todos los participantes. Estos se utilizarán para la fertilización de los árboles e inoculación con trichodermas en las huertas para hacer más productivas las huertas. Los paquetes se calcularon para que cada participante tenga biopreparados
