Our mission is to restore degraded tropical ecosystems, with our core projects being: Reforestation, Wildlife Conservation, and Education. We strive for an optimal balance between widespread and effective forest restoration – measured by the conservation of biodiversity, ecological health, and carbon sequestration – in conjunction with improving the economic and environmental quality of life for the local communities within our engaged region.
As a forest scholar Since I came to work at CNF here we take care of the plants like we take care of family members. Trees are our warm and shaded family. There are no bosses and employees here. There are only family here. including every tree Planting trees and caring for them to thrive Must start with sowing seeds in the ground. Every seed is valuable when we pay attention. It rewards us by giving us fresh air.
CNF focuses on tree planting to accelerate the restoration of degraded forests, such as community reforestation. In addition to creating an ecosystem to restore balance also instilling awareness and awareness among people in the community to preserve the forest In addition to conserving forests, CNF also creates maximum benefits for the environment. This is the strength of CNF's focus on building forests to restore degraded forests.

CNF is a non-profit organization dedicated to forest preservation. Restore natural forests to protect the planet's biodiversity. We make every effort to protect and restore forests.
.
We have the goal and attention in every procedure to produce the strongest seedlings, from seed selection to seedling to forest planting. CNF plays a vital role in getting people involved in forest management, in addition to its aims of recovering forests and increase green areas to the world. CNF causing the community to play a vital role in the conservation of the area's forest resources. This will ensure the sustainable viability of communities and forests.
.
Conservation doesn't mean we can't use it. We can use it!, but the question is how to do it in the most cost effective and sustainable way possible.

I've worked closely with Conserve Natural Forests (CNF) in the past on several restoration projects in Northern Thailand. They use an excellent science-based accelerated restoration strategy called the Framework Species Method that balances a mix of pioneer, late-successional, and fruiting/flowering trees that simultaneously address the drivers of degradation, barriers to regeneration, and seed dispersal mechanisms. Although the method requires more work and intensive care in the short term, the mid- to long-term benefits on biodiversity, resilience, and self-regulation far exceed most other forest restoration methods.
CNF is careful to only grow native and ecologically appropriate species tailored to each restoration site, and their seeds are gathered by hand from nearby mature forests to ensure robust genetic diversity. They also synergize their planting method with a variety of assisted natural regeneration techniques to maximize their success rates and promote species recruitment.
Finally, it's worth noting that CNF does the work of growing trees, not merely planting them. They have dedicated staff that maintains their restoration sites for years after the initial planting. Each tree is nurtured until its long-term prospects are guaranteed. I was also impressed by their monitoring and reporting criteria and guidelines.
I would highly recommend Conserve Natural Forests to anyone who wants to make a difference. Whether you are a citizen concerned about the state of your planet or a company developing your social responsibility and sustainability strategy, CNF is a friendly, responsible, and expert ally in your mission.

The Conserve Natural Forests team operates very well when it comes to tree planting. A lot of research is made by their scientific background staff to ensure the most adequate species are planted on different locations. The most promising planting system is used. The actual planting team is now very experienced and planting can go very smoothly. After planting always maintenance is carried out to help the trees reach maturity after which they can take care of themselves. The team can always be heard laughing when at planting sites. That is great to see.
I direct this foundation and insist everything is done right in order to create the maximum benefit for the environment thanks to all of our teams efforts.

Anyone can put trees in the ground, but it takes a very talented team to put the right trees in the right places to lay down the groundwork for a functional habitat. And it takes an even more incredible team to execute that work at lightning speed. I am a conservation biologist with a background in reforestation and have worked on projects in the US, Australia, and Thailand. However, I have never seen a team work this diligently and quickly before. It will be a pleasure to continue planting with them.

I'm a forestry scholar who takes care of every tree you buy. I chose the planting area and tree species according to the structural tree species principle of the Forest Restoration Research Unit (FORRU), Chiang Mai University. When the trees are planted in the right place Of course, the survival rate of the tree was very high.
Confident in our work We do our best for the world. Thank you everyone for supporting us.

It was very important to us that we found an organization which could not only help us to plant trees that would compensate our CO2 emissions, but also reconstruct a forest while doing so.
CNF was one of the only organizations that we could find that matched the fit.
They use complex and modern reforestation methods which guarantee that our planting program would be a sustainable step towards dealing with climate change.
CNF was professional and always went the extra mile to make this project a success. All our questions were always answered and our wishes were met.
We were so excited and grateful to be given the opportunity to actually plant trees with the community and military groups that day, and it will be an unforgettable experience cherish by our whole team.
We would like to thank CNF for their incredible work and look forward to partnering with them again to fight against Climate Change.

Visiting Conserve Natural Forests during my trip to Pai was amazing! The team is working hard to restore Thailand’s forests and protect wildlife. Our guides were friendly and shared lots of interesting facts about local trees and plants thanks to their forests and the botanical garden.
They also have animals on their project site like tortoises and a rescued elephant, Kamee. You can’t touch or go too close to her because they want her to live like a real elephant in her natural habitat which is really great to see.
This place is a must-visit in Pai if you care about nature.
I visited CNF in January and i could not have been more impressed. They're focus on planting trees, caring for endangered animals later to be reintroduced and so many details like restoring water sheds or improving soil quality as well as so many other things was fantastic to see. Great job guys! Will visit again soon.
Conserve Natural Forests (CNF) is a great organization founded by passionate people. Their reforestation work is amazing as they are constantly monitoring the trees they plant to ensure diversity and overall ecosystem health.
I interned here for a summer, and it was without a doubt the best summer of my life. CNF is an incredibly educational and amazing place. The people leading the charge here are so dedicated and are truly passionate about their efforts in Conservation. This place deserves the best and as many visitors as possible! Go and check them out, you won’t regret it!!
Conserve Natural Forests is a great organization that tries to make Thailand a better place. The founder and the staff have a very good heart and work really hard. I visited several times in the past few years and every time I go back I am so surprised how much the demonstration forest has grown again and how green it is. I also joined a tree planting activity once with young kids and I really like how they try to engage the local community. I’m very grateful that they try to bring back more nature to my country.
The team at Conserve Natural Forests is extremely passionate about nature and reforesting Thailand in order to sequester carbon and improve air quality. Their dedication to reforestation, education and wildlife conservation is amazing and the whole experience is really fun, inspirational, and informative. Great place to visit and get involved!

Wide ecosystem view of the deforestation throughout Thailand and incredible project to restore the forests, for wildlife, clean resources and local economies.
Five stars all round, Conserve Natural Forests is an incredibly passionate, genuine team of people with a beautiful mission at the heart of everything they do. I learned so much from the tour when I visited in early 2020, and had a beautiful time out on the site. The team are phenomenal, incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend.
The team at Conserve Natural Forests is one of the most educated, diligent and innovative teams I have ever come across. They work in alignment with their goal to help leave the planet better for the next generation and you can tell that all of them fully believe in the mission. They are an inspiration to all of us and I'm proud to have been able to participate in everything that they do. I can't wait to return and visit the site again.
I work as a photographer promoting my position. I have gained skills and experienced a lot including learning Photography skills, good communication abilities and a friendly personality for creating a positive first impression to guests and finding the way for solving any process by myself. I am working as a team to improve interactive skills and problem-solving skills. Thank you and appreciate you all.
I am really happy to find them in Pai in 2020. It's not a tourist spot, but it's a place to learn reforestation programs of their foundation. They produce tree seedlings and plant it in the rainy season. Had the chance to plant my 36 money tree seedlings (Pachira aquatica) and plant two rain trees (Albizia saman). I named them Pinay (as what women in the PH are called) and Isang (my nickname from my father when I was a kid).
I met Mae Kamee, a 34-year old female elephant at Conserve Natural Forests. I can stay the whole day staring at her and just watching her roam the 8 hectares reforested jungle of the group. Kamee is not allowed to be touched. Reforestation is the main goal of the group as they slowly bring the jungle back to rehabilitate the wildlife and to bring more of Mae Kamee's herd and other wildlife back to their habitat.
I enjoyed the half day activity and learned a lot from K Hippo and N Louis Kaewjampavijit. My heart is full! I am super attached with your vision. I will be back.
My internship with CNF was one of the experiences in my life that I would never forget.
CNF team was never just a 'team' for me, they accepted me as one of their own and it felt like a family. They are flexible with the members and took care of me throughout my entire stay. Everyone is very well-rounded and uses their skills to contribute to the team and to CNF’s mission, to contribute to the wildlife conservation and the forest restoration of the North of Thailand. I learned so much from my CNF advisors from gathering wild seedlings and learning about endemic plant species to relating with wild animals especially with Kamee the ellie and the local Thai community. Not only did I learn about conservation and organizational development, but also about the overall process and effort it takes to run a non-governmental organization in Thailand.
I guess my advice for the next interns is to make the most out of your time, get involved, and take on any responsibility. Knowing that this is not just for personal gain but also the positive impact you are giving to the local community of Pai with the help of CNF. Not just being one of those 'nature lovers' but also protectors of nature. :)
I really like Conserve Natural Forests, because they make Pai a better place. They are planting a lot of trees in the region to bring back the forest. I've also helped them plant trees on several occasions. I also love that they are teaching at local schools to educate the future generation of Pai.
Such an amazing organization with a powerful mission! I love how CNF's reforestation work brings the community together and uses research-based methods. Keep up the great work!
My experience at CNF as a summer intern was an amazing opportunity filled with passionate people and a beautiful environment. The organization is dedicated to their mission, and it shows- being a part of the team for that summer is something I will always be grateful for! Community outreach, in addition to afforestation, are two critically important endeavors that CNF pursues to better their environment each and everyday. I would fully recommend supporting this organization, through a visit or as an employee.
Learning about CNF's work on reforestation is absolutely inspiring! It's obvious that the organization spends so much time and energy to make a difference in Thailand and the world. Their tours are very individualized and special. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is passionate about the environment!
Last February I was in Thailand for the first time. At the time I also went to Conserve Natural Forests. Got experience the beautiful things they do for the nature. They told us that some years ago the place was not as green as it was at in the time I was around there. They showed us around, the people were nice to communicate with and are so passionate about what they are doing. Really nice place to be!
Had a great experience here! It is just a peaceful place and all the people are friendly. The project they do is wonderful.
Being an intern at Conserve Natural Forests was one of the best experiences in my life. CNF is dedicated to wildlife conservation, combating deforestation and providing english education in the region. At CNF, (being an intern or a visitor) you always gain valuable knowledge about natural ways to combat the effects of climate change and heal the local ecosystem. I found it very enriching and fulfilling when working with the local agricultural community, planting over twenty different species of tropical trees daily in order to create a local stable environment. I also offered educational programs for local school children. I had immense pleasure working and interacting with the children and found it so great that CNF offer this aid for the local school children! I highly recommend visiting CNF and also doing an internship.
I can really feel how passionate the founders and the CNF team is about the projects. Not only the environmental friendly thought but the motivation and will to spread the word about climate change and wild life conservation has influenced me in many ways. Conserve Natural Forests is an incredibly amazing organisation to support, experience and be a part of.
