This is what early-stage reforestation looks like in Ireland — a young native tree finding its footing in ground that's been grassland for generations. The bronze tips are new growth, which means it's adapting. That's exactly what you want to see.

This is the site we selected for restoration — assessed for soil, slope, and long-term potential — captured here before the first trees were planted.

Planting trees on former agricultural land in Ireland is part of a longer restoration process. Over time, tree cover helps rebuild soil structure, retain moisture, and reintroduce ecological complexity.

Proud of the team behind the planting of 10,000 trees in 2024 — and just as committed to the care that ensures they continue to grow.

This was one of the steps in choosing the seedlings for our planting site in Ireland.
Before heading to the field, we assessed each young tree—checking its roots, labels, and overall condition to ensure it would thrive once planted.

Very excited to have started this fantastic project in County Clare! This is an extremely deforested part of Ireland, with most of the existing trees being used for commercial plantations (such as the two existing woodlands in the pictures) so it's inspiring to think we'll be planting
