These challenges are spreading across the country, severely impacting the forest ecosystem. To ensure its resilience, forest owners are reforesting their plots and diversifying tree species to better withstand future threats.

At times when we are facing disastrous change, it's heart warming to see a project focused on building forests that can withstand the challenges that climate change is bringing!

Sauver les forêts

En France, les forêts sont attaqués de toute part par des insectes (scolytes), des champignons (Chalarose), des ravageurs...
Les arbres sont donc malmené et n'arrivent pas à survivrent face à ces attaques incessantes.
C'est donc important de préserver ces forêts et les replanter.

Fachwissen: Les plantations se sont bien déroulées et ont bien supporté les sécheresses des années passées. Des dégagements autour des plants sont effectués pour libérer les plants des adventices.
