Every forest starts from the nursery!

Our nursery seedbed is full of native tree saplings which acts as shield to save the World from degradation.It starts from a tree sapling up to be among such big trees in forming a forest together.

The task of raising more tree saplings in our nursery is an ongoing and all year around activity. Each tree sponsored have a possibility of adding more two employment vacancies in the chain of tree nursery production up to the planting moment.

Our new third and a bigger tree nursery is on its way. It is going to provide massive employment opportunities to the locals while eradicating poverty and ensure food security to the local communities while preserving the environment and reducing carbon emissions.

This picture says it all as for how the members of the community are benefiting from the project. Now they have an assured supply of food and and hence reduce poverty.

Collecting native tree seeds requires two main sources of supply;
1.We purchase native tree seeds from a registered government entity knonw as Tanzania Tree Seeds Agency (TTSA) where we get the treated and well preserved tree seeds.
2.We collect the seeds by ourselves from the general

The initiatives to expand our project is moving forward as our second tree nursery is full of trees growing and by doing so we provide employment opportunities to the local community and brings a hope that the degradation happened will be cleared by planting trees.

These are the tree species found at our nursery, this specie is Albiziagummifera which is famous and useful as it serves as animal fodder, and offering environmental benefits like soil conservation and nitrogen fixation. It is also used in traditional medicine for malaria and skin

Today we share good news about our second tree nursery built in Lushoto aimed at raising a big number of tree saplings of more than 12 kinds of native tree species ready for being planted to fight the degradation of the lovely planet we have.

As we keep struggling to produce more trees saplings in our nursery, we ensure that we generate more employment opportunities to the local community and help to eradicate poverty and stimulate economic activities.

This native tree specie is known as Syzygium guineense, a native tree seedling that we raise at our nursery for it to be ready to to grow and being sent to the field for planting purposes to heal the planet.

Weeding and seedling planting are among the daily activities played at our nursery by our local women who have been employed at our nursery to take care after it.
