Sustainable Agroforestry Project

Agroforestry Project is the diversity in develop ecosystem of soil health, Different type of trees trees and birds and animals.

I m very happy to this project implement in my farm, hivre tq-Shirur Dist-pune.

Integration of trees with crops and/or livestock on the same land to enhance productivity and sustainability.

Objectives:
1.Improve soil fertility and reduce erosion
2.Increase biodiversity and carbon sequestration
3.Provide diversified income sources for farmers
4.Enhance climate resilience

Key Benefits Observed:
1.Better soil health and water retention
2.Higher crop yields and reduced input costs
3.Additional income from timber, fruits, and fodder
4.Improved microclimate and ecosystem services.

Challenges Faced:
1.Long gestation period for tree-based systems
2.Lack of awareness and technical expertise among farmers
3.Inadequate market access for tree products
4.Weak policy and institutional support

Overall Impact:
1.Proven tool for sustainable land management and rural development
2.Enhances both ecological balance and economic stability
3.Needs stronger extension services, policy backing, and market linkages for scaling up.

From Barren to Bountiful – A Heartfelt Thanks to AgroRangers

Gratitude to the AgroRangers team for their incredible work in transforming my once-barren land into a thriving agroforest. What was once dry and lifeless is now a vibrant ecosystem filled with diverse trees, serene ponds, and an automated irrigation system that keeps everything flourishing.

They didn’t just plant trees, they created a living space. Today, our agroforest includes a vegetable patch and a flower garden that our entire family cherishes during every visit. It’s become a place of joy, learning, and connection with nature.

I’ve included a few photos showing the dramatic transformation of before and after AgroRangers worked their magic. Their dedication to agroforestry and sustainable land development is truly inspiring.

Agro Rangers is transforming Indian agriculture through hands-on training and regenerative practices—an inspiring initiative worth supporting.

I had the opportunity to attend a session organized by Agro Rangers in July 2024, and it left a lasting impression.
Led by Siddhesh Sakore, along with his dedicated team including Kunal Dhondge, Agro Rangers is doing an exceptional job rejuvenating soil health and promoting integrated farming systems that are both sustainable and economically viable.

Their approach—rooted in regenerative agroforestry—empowers small and marginal farmers to shift away from chemical-intensive methods toward organic, multi-crop models that restore soil vitality and reduce input costs. The training was not only informative but deeply practical, offering farmers tools like drip irrigation, fruit saplings, and bio-fertilizers tailored to local conditions.

What stood out most was the taste and quality of the produce grown through integrated farming—it’s noticeably superior, a testament to the health of the soil and the care taken in cultivation. Agro Rangers isn’t just teaching farming techniques; they’re cultivating resilience, dignity, and hope in rural communities.

I have privileged to know Siddesh the co founder of Agrorangers. Over the years a lot of things has changed what did not change is Siddesh and his co-founder Jaydeep's determination to bring change in their farming communities. In a time when young people are moving out of farming they are doing it all they can to make sure we still have people to feed us and there is sustainale model to serve the growers need. I got to visit their and their mentor's farm which can be model to peruse. Cheers to Agrorangers, you are fighting the right kind of battle.
