A new planting site is ready to go with 50,000 trees prepared for planting.

Fifty-six farmers will carry out the planting through an agroforestry approach, mixing support trees with productive fruit species like Mangifera indica (mango), Citrus limon (lemon), and Citrus sinensis

Our team carries and plants every tree by hand—not because it is easy, but because we believe in being hands-on in restoring our landscapes and creating a greener future.

From carrying seedlings to planting each tree, every step represents dedication, teamwork, and love for nature.

This is one among of the Acacia family species we planted along the river Ligembe riparian zone is showing impressive growth. In just two years these trees have grown rapidly and are already becoming an important part of the river ecosystem.

In most recently, our team conducting a routine inspection of seedling health in the tree nursery to ensure every young tree is growing strong and healthy. Regular monitoring helps us identify any signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies early, improving survival rates

Successful landscape restoration begins with people. Before planting starts, we engage village leaders, community groups, and local farmers to identify priority restoration sites, discuss project goals, and ensure everyone understands their role.

As we prepare for the upcoming planting season, our work begins in the nursery. Seed selection, pot filling and or direct seedling care, and nursery maintenance are essential steps to ensure healthy and strong trees for planting.

Our team lives in the forest camp during the planting season, waking up before sunrise to prepare for a full day of planting. The mornings begin with testing our local tools, organizing seedlings, and making sure everything is ready before heading to the planting sites.
