Participatory monitoring is key in our work. We visit farmers to monitor how the trees are growing.

Tree nursery establishment is the key to a successful tree planting project. The health of the seedling counts right from the seed collection stage, propagation to transplanting and after care.

Kiangure Springs Environment Initiative has completed the construction of our Head office and Eco-Resource Centre located in Ndugamano shopping Centre in Tetu Sub-County of Nyeri County about five kilometers to the Aberdare forest.

Planting fruit trees in schools promotes food security and sustainable development. Learners have fruits to eat, sustained health and learning that is a cornerstone to community development.

Promoting clean cookstoves is vital in forest conservation. Over 80% of local communities rely on wood for fuel.
By promoting clean cooking , wood consumption will reduce by 50% which includes the reduction of CO2 pollution and indoor house pollution.

As we celebrate Earth day this year, we keep our focus on tree planting where we engage our communities to ensure project ownership and benefits.
We are educating communities in sustainable management of plastics as we move towards biodegradable planting Pots .
