Trees for Tigers

Trees for Tigers, India

Our project aims to protect the local fauna and restore the habitat surrounding Similipal National Park. This region is crucial as it is home to black tigers, as well as a prime habitat for other wildlife like elephants. Covering 2,750 sq km, Similipal is one of India’s oldest tiger reserves, and safeguarding this area is essential for preserving its unique biodiversity.

Hi there, we have been planting in this project for some time now. I have a small group of approx 10 employees that would love to come onsite and volunteer for a day (either planting or maintaining trees). Please can you let me know if this is possible and if so how we make this happen? Many thanks

Hi Aveva, thanks for planting from these projects. Projects are from India. It maybe difficult to arrange for an onsite visit and volunteering activities. I would like to know where AVEVA is based out of. This information would be helpful in determining whether it is possible to arrange for an onsite visit or volunteering activities.

Dear Trees for Tigers, I see that more than 5000 trees have been bought, yet none planted. That worries me a bit as I've just bought some trees for my students. Can you explain this to me? Thanks. Rhea Vincent, Netherlands.

Hi Rhea! Planting season for this project starts in July thus all funded trees will get planted in this period, if you'd like to see this planting season you can find it in the about section of the project.
