Our tree planting in the community, comprised of our amazing supporters, dedicated local communities, and the small FoU team in Usambara Biodiversity Conservation, shares something in common. We know the value trees have for wildlife, restoring landscapes, and improving lives. And

We are currently stocking over 1 million trees to plant with Tree Nation for these coming short rains to restore degraded land where trees are needed. A key element of this project is the creation of tree nurseries where local residents can grow native and threatened tree species.

And as the demand for trees continues to grow, the nurseries will expand. This will lead to the creation of new job opportunities as more help will be needed for tasks like grafting, propagation and watering.
