Our project aims to preserve biodiversity in the Eastern Arc Mountains rainforest. To achieve this, we focus on reversing deforestation around the Forest Nature Reserve, promoting environmental conservation education, and alleviating extreme poverty through agroforestry initiatives.

We are currently stocking over 1 million trees to plant with Tree Nation for these coming short rains to restore degraded land where trees are needed. A key element of this project is the creation of tree nurseries where local residents can grow native and threatened tree species.

And as the demand for trees continues to grow, the nurseries will expand. This will lead to the creation of new job opportunities as more help will be needed for tasks like grafting, propagation and watering.
