Replanting the burnt Mkussu Forest

Women are the best and important stake holders when addressing environmental issues in the societies found in Tanzania. Most of them are being affected by climate change whereby some of them live with their children as single mothers taking care of the family by feeding the family

This is Baraka Emmanuel,one of our workers at the third three big nurseries. He is working with us while accompanied by his wife Marianne.

This project has benefited hundreds of families despite of challenges of having large number of local women and men who need to work with us.

Persie americana also known as an Avocado 🥑🥑 fruit tree is among the famous fruit tree to have been used to propagate agroforestry practice in Tanzania.It acts as a weapon to fight poverty as it gives more yields in not more than three years in monitored well.

The greener the nursery means a hope for a beautiful planted ready to be planted with massive number of beautiful native trees. It shows that there are quite a good number of employment opportunities given to the local community especially women who take care after these tree saplings.

The Tree-Nation community has made our day and given us some strength to keep raising native trees at our nurseries while creating jobs to local women and youth

While sending thousands of native trees to the site,the other side of our nursery is busy growing up new tree saplings that are younger and it will be used for planting trees in the next planting season. This restoration project is important as it generates employment opportunities

Women are the catalyst for change in the society. As we celebrate 🍾 International Women's Day,our nursery is having lot's of heroic women who take most of their time working at our nursery raising tree saplings to heal the Mother Earth's biodiversity as they consider our nursery

Trees act as a "biological bank account" for the poor. By integrating trees into farming systems—a practice known as agroforestry—smallholder farmers can diversify their income streams. For example, fruit-bearing trees like mangoes and avocados provide both nutrition and marketable

Buying tree saplings from the local communities neighboring our nursery is a part of our contribution towards ending poverty to these communities. Our two nurseries have provided a backbone and an alternative source of income for these local communities especially women who are helping

This year has been of great achievements in our restoration activities.Through the Tree-Nation platform we managed plant thousands of native trees in different planting sites that we work at those.
