Why reforest in Indonesia?

Indonesia is one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet and home to about 23% of the world’s mangrove forests.

However, in the last 50 years, Indonesia has lost over 40% of its mangrove forests (80% of its original forests) and continues to lose

Our team is currently securing new large-scale project sites also on other islands like Borneo, which is home to thousands of indigenous plants, animals, and people who rely on the forest for food, shelter, and income.
