The Mangroves Restoration Project in Kilifi, Kenya has a new planting site: Jiwe Leupe. Target: 20,000 trees across 2 ha of mangrove forest.

Mangroves are critical fish and crab breeding habitat. Restoring them here directly supports local fishing communities

On the 21st of March we celebrated International Day of Forests by planting 8,000 trees.

Together with the local community on the Kadaina Island we planted a total of 2,500 cCeriops tagal, mangrove seedlings.
