On the past weekend, we planted Beech (Fagus sylvatica), Sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus), Spruce (Picea abies), and Silver fir (Abies alba) seedlings in the Hasmas Mountain with a group of young international volunteers, joined by personnel from the Cheile Bicazului-Hasmas National Park.

The surrounding landscape was impressive: already greening, thanks to the unusually high temperatures of this spring and fresh snow on the higher altitudes.
