An enchanting path that winds its way down toward the Tarn… A vacation memory for this last weekend in August. Thank you for your drops, dear TN friends, and have a nice beginning of September! 🌸💙
Since 2024, Shivangi Bendre has helped communities safely live alongside tigers and other wildlife, in Central India. Working as Conservation Biologist at The Corbett Foundation, Shivangi is an integral part of their team in the Kanha Tiger Reserve Landscape – her work blending hands-on fieldwork, with community engagement. https://www.bornfree.org.uk/news/talking-tigers-meet-shivangi-bendre/
I recently moved to Mexico and started using tree and seed posts on Tree-Nation to learn about the species around my new home. 📸
This sapodilla tree, chicozapote locally, is loaded with fruit near my new place in Puerto Morelos. Its sap was the original chewing gum base long before synthetic gum existed. 🌳
This tree gave the world chewing gum, its latex (chicle) was the original base before synthetic gum, and the Maya used its rock-hard wood for temple lintels still standing after 1,000+ years. 🍬
#Seed: 348 - A view of part of the Auge district (Freiburg’s Old Town) from the Zaehringen Bridge. 💚Thank you for your precious drops and have a nice day.💚
