Watering trees on Dry Season!

0

On January 27th, we carried out an emergency watering for 800 little trees in Tepeticpac, Tlaxcala. Over 30 people from various organizations and communities participated. The plantation has an 80% survival rate, and rainwater previously collected in the community of Tepeticpac was used. In the reforestation process, we applied compost, hydrogel, and mycorrhizae, which is why the trees are enduring more. With the emergency waterings, we aim to promote or assist more trees in surviving.

Today was the first emergency watering of the year. We visited the trees that we planted with much effort and heart in Tepeticpac, and it fills us with encouragement to see their high survival rate (over 80%), but above all, the participation of many friends who accompanied us in this task.

Thanks to Cannatlax, INECOL, Poliuhqui, Destino Tlaxcala, Custom Tlaxcala, Patos Verdes, UPCO, Universidad Intercultural de Tlaxcala, Nanovit, to the friends from Ocotlán and Tenexyecac, and especially to the friends from MST for all the efforts and for sharing these great moments of environmental commitment.

The 1th stage is to explain everyone how to take care of trees and identify endangered trees.

This is a hard season for trees, but with our care they're able to survive.

Volunteers of all ages join us!
