Local de plantação Kiongwe

Projeto: Swahili Coast Mangrove Restoration, Quênia

Kiongwe's mangrove forest has experienced significant changes in canopy cover since the early 19th century. Loss of forest cover was also accelerated by the gradual growth of Kiongwe and reliance on mangrove forests for firewood, charcoal, and building.
