Since 2017, our incredible tree‑planting partners have been working hand‑in‑hand with us to bring life back to the Usambara Mountains through the Usambara Restoration Forest Project.
Together, we have planted thousands of trees, restoring degraded land, protecting water sources, and creating a greener, healthier future for people and nature alike.
What started as a small initiative has now become an inspiring movement of hope and renewal. Thanks to our partners’ constant dedication, families in the Usambara region are seeing real change—from improved soil fertility and cleaner air to new income‑earning opportunities through sustainable farming and tree nurseries.
Beyond trees, this project has planted opportunities, education, and unity. Communities are learning the value of conservation, children are growing up surrounded by green landscapes again, and local livelihoods have improved through eco‑friendly practices.
The impact reaches far beyond the roots of each tree—it's in the smiles of people whose lives have been transformed.
