La Pedregoza

While we all debated about having a Christmas's tree post of some sort it was rather difficult to decide which tree should get the attention this year until we came across this stunning red and green side by side and knew we had found our answer.

Grassland fires have reached the borders of La Pedregoza and we were well prepared with firebreaks already perfectly in place. Fire is an annual risk for our newly planted forests but as seen here can be mitigated by good firebreaks, vigilance and preparedness.
