Jambo! Our project aims to restore the Mkussu Nature Forest Reserve, one of the nine forest reserves in Lushoto District, after it was damaged by fire. The project focuses on replanting indigenous tree species to rehabilitate the burnt areas, helping to revive this important ecosystem.

Our restoration project has provided a good number of employment opportunities to the local community and as a result there is an improvement in biodiversity conservation and living standard to our local community as they are always given equal chances to participate in the project

If we need positive change we must invest our time and resources to the younger generation. Our organization is planting native trees to the public schools to teach by action about the ways to mitigate climate change.The younger students are eager to learn more from us.
