It is a native tree to Usambara Region as it is among the 9 tree species that we use to plant in our restoration projects.It is rich of benefits to both human and environmental advantages.

This is Rauvolfia caffra among the native tree species that we planted along the Soni-Mombo River within Pangani River Basin. These trees were planted a year ago and this is the status of the growth of such a tree.
