Today, Argentina celebrates National Tree Day.
And we choose to celebrate it in the best way we know: by planting trees and restoring the Yungas Forest.
Every tree we plant is one more step toward healthy native forests, full of life and biodiversity.

We have good news: the trees we planted during the last planting season are already starting to sprout!
A sign that winter is beginning to fade and spring is just around the corner.

Today’s children are tomorrow’s adults. Everything we do now is the world they will inherit. That’s why getting them involved early in protecting, restoring, and caring for nature isn’t just something we should do—it’s the best investment we can make in their future.

One more camera in the forest!! We continue monitoring biodiversity to learn which species inhabit our territory and how they use this landscape under restoration.

We have started a new tree monitoring campaign. By measuring our trees regularly, we can track how they are growing and developing over time. This information helps us understand the progress of our restoration work and the health of the forest.

We recently carried out a harvest of chilto fruits (Solanum betaceum) in the Yungas 🌿
Part of these fruits will be used for research, while another part will support the local community, creating opportunities and strengthening the connection with the forest.

Another activity we carry out in the project with the planting team is collecting fruits and separating, selecting, and weighing native tree seeds.

We harvested some fruits from the red cebil tree to collect its seeds and test their germination. This native tree was heavily used for its hard wood for many years. Now, every seed matters to help restore the forest.

A few days ago, we had visitors at the project and spent some time together in the area we’re restoring. We walked through the forest, talked about native plants, wildlife, and how the ecosystem is recovering.
