More than 100 species native to the Atlantic Forest, produced through seeds collected from thousands of mother trees in the region.

Copaíba seeds begin to germinate, which gives the Organization its name and is native to the Atlantic Forest.

It's not just in the "external part" that trees differentiate between species, this also happens in parts we don't normally see: in the roots! 🌳👁️
But there is one characteristic that needs to be the same for all of them: They need to be well trained to be able to develop well

This area is located in the municipality of Toledo, Brazil, and its restoration project was implemented in 2022.
2,030 seedlings were planted on 1,918 hectares.

This area is located in the municipality of Águas de Lindóia, in Brazil, and had its restoration project implemented in 2020.
1,300 seedlings were planted, 1,100 of which were fully planted and 200 seedlings in an enrichment area, totaling 1.54 hectares.

The production of native seedlings at Copaíba, from locally collected seeds, is essential for effective ecological restoration. These seedlings, genetically adapted to the specific environment, have a better chance of survival and sustainable establishment in recovering ecosystems.
