Bukedea is one of the districts that faces severe drought and the growing challenges of climate change. But thanks to support from Tree Nation, we established a nursery in the area, and communities now have access to quality seedlings and renewed hope for a greener future.

Regular monitoring exercises indicate encouraging survival rates of planted trees. Field teams are working closely with farmers to provide technical guidance on tree care, ensuring that planted seedlings mature into thriving forests in Bukedea. With support from Tree Nation ,we established

Musizi, scientifically known as Maesopsis eminii, is a fast-growing indigenous tree valued for timber, reforestation, and providing shade. It remains one of the key species we distribute freely to communities, with support from Tree-Nation.
