Replanting the burnt Mkussu Forest

Nursery work has created hundreds of jobs to our three big nurseries.We have employed 8 men and 14 women as monthly paid workers who are filling the polythene tubes with sand and ensure the native tree saplings are well maintained for easy and fast growth of these young trees.

Protection of mother trees especially for the native and fruit trees is in our priority. This is a mother tree for Plums fruit 🍑 that always give more yields during harvesting time and by doing so it improves the lives of many villagers who have these trees in their farms.

This Persia americana planted to the farms of one of our project beneficiaries in lushoto shows a great impact to the moment.It is 3 years of age and it has started to give more yields that add to the individual farmers income aiming at relieving the family from poverty that is facing

This is our third and a big nursery with thousands of tree saplings that are raised to heal the World's biodiversity. It's good for us to that our restoration project is of high importance to the local communities we serve as it managed to provide employment opportunities to women

Buying tree saplings from the local communities neighboring our nursery is a part of our contribution towards ending poverty to these communities. Our two nurseries have provided a backbone and an alternative source of income for these local communities especially women who are helping

Collecting native tree seeds requires two main sources of supply;
1.We purchase native tree seeds from a registered government entity knonw as Tanzania Tree Seeds Agency (TTSA) where we get the treated and well preserved tree seeds.
2.We collect the seeds by ourselves from the general

Our nursery has employed many youths and women as they are employed/hired to supply soil and manure for the first stages of raising up a tree sapling.Planting more trees at pur projects helps to create more jobs to these community groups

The existence of our second tree nusery promises as good source of tree saplings that we shall use to restore degraded landscapes.It acts as a home for trees and a work place for the local community.
