Forest Garden Program

Meet Mate Mbaye, a local farmer from Senegal whose life has been transformed by our Forest Garden approach.
Supporting a family of nine is no small task, but the Forest Garden has enabled him to grow enough to both feed his family and earn an income from his crops.

Local farmers are the backbone of our reforestation efforts, continuously receiving new seedlings to enrich their forest gardens.

Modern agriculture techniques often fail to lift farming communities out of poverty, with many in sub-Saharan Africa still living below the poverty line.
Our project empowers farmers by teaching them to diversify their crops and explore new revenue streams, increasing their incomes
