Wildfire Recovery in California

Conifers don’t just survive in tough environments—they often thrive in them.

Many conifer species, like pines and spruces, have needle-shaped leaves coated with a waxy layer that helps conserve water, making them remarkably well adapted to cold, dry, or nutrient-poor conditions.

We’re always grateful for the growing number of volunteers who join our program. Every volunteer brings energy and dedication, helping us make a bigger impact in restoring forests and protecting the environment. Their support is truly invaluable.

As our seedlings mature into a thriving forest, they offer crucial wildlife habitats, restoring the natural balance. Every tree we plant contributes to a more resilient ecosystem.

For the Angeles National Forest in California, Tree Nation supported us to plant 45,000 seedlings, between the Coulter pine and Big cone Douglas-fir species, on approximately 180 acres.
