Usambara Biodiversity Conservation

We are part of a wonderful community who understand that tree-planting and restoration, when done thoughtfully, can be transformational – sequestering carbon and transforming landscapes and lives.

Beside being commercially and ecologically valuable, plants of the Podocarpus species are also used in traditional medicines in Usambara Mountains for treating asthma, fever, venereal diseases, eye diseases, etc
Support our project by planting with us at the Tree Nation Platform

Restoration ecology is emerging as a key science to help repair damaged ecosystems, imagine/create the ecosystems of the future, and address the biodiversity crisis. Indeed FoU work with Environmental Partners to store the Planet, Plant with us on this platform.
