Community Tree Planting, Royaume-Uni

This programme enables UK communities to plant native trees in their local public spaces. At just 13%, the UK currently has one of the lowest rates of tree cover in Europe. Working across the UK, this project will increase tree cover, absorb carbon from the atmosphere, and provide vital habitat for local wildlife. It will also provide a vital community link - therefore encouraging both biodiversity and local communities to flourish once more.

Hello and apologies for the delay! As you can see we added many planting sites for the 2023 season :). Each tree you plant in 2023 should be planted in the planting sites dedicated to the 2023 season. However at this stage it is impossible for us to tell you in which planting site exactly your trees will be. You are welcome to come visit us, our visit policy can be found on TN website under the ABOUT section > How to visit the plantation. Take care!

Hello! You can find detailed information about all planting sites on the "planting site" section of our project. The information includes a satellite map of the planting site where you can visit the trees you sponsored. If you tell us the planting site you want to visit we can even try to send you are more detailed site map. Hope this helps?

Hi Sonia! Great that you are going to plant trees with us! You just have to select the species and trees you want to plant and we will plant them for you during the next planting season in autumn.

Hello, I'm contacting you from Sharpsmart Ltd, we joined Treenation at the beginning of the year and have committed to planting a tree for every employee as part of our sustainability efforts. Since you have launched in the UK we have so far contributed to 10 trees with your project, now COVID 19 restrictions are easing we wondered if there was a possibility of allowing a small team to volunteer with the tree planting onsite? This will really encourage our team to focus and understand the the efforts being made for this great cause.

Hi Kate,
Thanks so much for your question and interest in this project. At this stage, I'm afraid we don't offer any planting events to our sponsors as this would require a lot of coordination of our small team here at ITF. However, all our planting sites are publically accessible if any of your colleagues wanted to visit.
