I am an elderly and ordinary mother and grandmother who is seriously, very seriously concerned about the state of our planet. By planting trees I can help just a little bit to mend our damaged environment. Although I cannot go out and plant trees myself, I can pay a modest amount every month so other people can do so.

This little guy is a mudskipper—part fish, part land explorer.

Found in healthy mangrove ecosystems like those in Madagascar, mudskippers can breathe through their skin and even “walk” on land using their fins.

Their presence is a great sign that the mangroves are thriving.
