We are in the process of collecting seeds for the production of seedlings.

In the image it is possible to see seeds of Cedrela fissilis next to the structure (a kind of capsule) where the seeds are housed before being removed.

3063 trees were planted at the Sitio Castanheira farm of 2,76 ha, located in a permanent preservation area (APP) near the town of Itapuã do Oeste. This picture shows farmer Arnaldo Soares do Nascimento at work preparing the holes for the trees with his "cavadeira manual".

During this 2021 / 2022 planting season we successfully planted 30.654 trees at 10 different smallholder farms in the state of Rondônia (next to the towns of Machadinho D'oeste, Itapuã do Oeste and Cujubim) in order to reforest part of their degregated farm land.

After being collected all seed were prepared for the germinator beds in our nursery.

Last autum our team collected all the seeds for this 2021 / 2022 planting season. All seeds come from native species growing in the Amazon rainforest (state of Rondônia).

In addition, we had to remove fallen trees which blocked the roads after heavy rainfalls.
