Our project aims to promote forest sustainability and nature conservation by integrating economic, environmental, and social aspects. Since 2002, we have been planting across Portugal, based on available sites, striving to improve both the environment and the quality of life for local communities, while building a better world for future generations.

Of the species planted in Chão do Rio: Alvarinho oak, cork oaks, strawberry trees (the majority), hawthorn trees and chestnut trees, the most successful species were oaks and arbutus trees. The one that didn't adapt were the chestnut trees.
