Women are at the heart of these forest gardens—growing food, restoring the land, and supporting their families at the same time. Their role is key to the project’s success.

It is crucial to involve women in agroforestry for sustainable environmental initiatives. They bring unique knowledge of local biodiversity and resource management, promoting economic independence, social equity, and more successful agroforestry outcomes.

Women are key drivers in tree planting and agroforestry, enhancing biodiversity, food security, and economic resilience. Their intimate knowledge of local ecosystems and sustainable practices positions them as crucial leaders in marrying agriculture with environmental stewardship.
