Once apon a time our island used to be a green paradise. The destruction of our forests started in 300BC and has been continued in modern times by destructive fires . More than 70% of our forests have gone. We reforest our island by organising big planting events during the rainy season. we produce the trees ourselves with seeds that we buy from the forest department of our country. We provide water for our newly plant trees until they grow.

Description du projet

Youreforest cyprus is the largest project undertaken by the Green Shield volunteer group. The project started with the creation of a garden station for the production of saplings, aromatic, horticultural and other plants with the sole purpose of reforestation of our country. Our goal is to remake our Cyprus an earthly paradise as it used to be in the ancient times. For this purpose, we keep the prices of our saplings very low so that everyone can adopt trees .

Our trees are given free of charge to schools and parents' associations for their tree planting project by filling an application they can submit.
