Once apon a time our island used to be a green paradise. The destruction of our forests started in 300BC and has been continued in modern times by destructive fires . More than 70% of our forests have gone. We reforest our island by organising big planting events during the rainy season. we produce the trees ourselves with seeds that we buy from the forest department of our country. We provide water for our newly plant trees until they grow.
