This picture shows one of our team members using a "chucho" to prepare pits for the saplings, and a "balizamento" to measure the distance between saplings (approx. 2,50m).

Our planting team had to face the very difficult working conditions of the Amazon rainforest (heat, humidity, rain, insects...).
