Project description

Our project in Kenya is actively restoring degraded forests while supporting local communities. Deforestation caused by logging, charcoal burning, and land clearing has led to drought, soil erosion, and poverty.

We're working closely with local stakeholders to help Kenya reach its goal of 10% forest cover by focusing on reforestation efforts along streams, rivers, and springs, with a strong emphasis on mangrove restoration. These critical planting areas not only support biodiversity but also help stabilize slopes, prevent landslides, and improve water retention.

Beyond environmental impact, we are committed to creating sustainable livelihoods through long-term employment opportunities in restoration work. Our aim is to make lasting progress for both people and the environment.
