Our project aims to restore Madagascar’s mangroves and upland forests through large-scale reforestation efforts. This initiative addresses habitat loss, improves biodiversity, and helps combat climate change by restoring these critical ecosystems.
Tree-Nation is opening projects for funding at a cautious pace to make sure each activated project will receive sufficient funding.
Over time, as our funding capacity grows, we are able to open more projects.
Nonetheless, in order to make sure we can help as many projects as possible, we also provide seasonal funding where a selected project can receive funding for a limited time.
This allows for a larger rotation of projects and broadens our reach and beneficial impact to more people worldwide.
Your voice matters. There are many great reforestation projects out there, and they need your help. We encourage you to discover more projects and participate in their selection process to activate them for funding. Here are the actions you can do:
We then take all the activity generated around a project to make our monthly selection and open new projects for funding.
The presented projects are at different stages of their application process and not all projects will succeed in becoming selected. However, as a part of our mission to reforest the world, we feel it’s important to encourage every tree planter on this planet to keep on with their important work, especially smaller projects that need special attention. Tree-Nation is also a place for them to communicate, gain new followers and exchange best practices with other planters. Tree-Nation aims at becoming the platform for all reforestation projects in the world.
After reading the Eden Projects story, we were convinced to support this great initiative. The fact that more than 90% of Madagascar's original forests have been destroyed, displacing entire animal species and taking away the Malagasy's ability to farm and live on the land is terrible and requires teamwork. Thank you for your service!
I love this plantation project of the trees in Eden Reforestation, Madagascar. I have a few plants here when i buy yoga mat from Wiworldandi, really i'm so happy because this idea. Love all!
To keep my carbon footprint small, I regularly plant trees, namely mangroves of the tree species Ceriops Tagal.
Mangrove forests are one of the most productive and species-rich ecosystems on earth. Their huge roots and crowns provide habitats for fish, reptiles and birds. At the same time, mangroves protect coasts from floods and hurricanes and are a valuable weapon against climate change. But since the 1980s, more than a third of the worlds mangroves have disappeared. So I decided to do something about it!
Ceriops Tagal is a medium-sized tree that grows to a height of 25 meters with a trunk diameter of up to 45 cm. Mangroves have the advantage for me that in addition to CO₂- uptake, they can also provide protection during storm surges and floods. My trees are reliably planted each month by the Eden Project in Madagascar.
Over 13 million trees planted and aiming for at least 7 million more! Great work in fighting poverty while working to overcome deforestation in Madagascar!
Great project started many years a go, still working hard in a very ambitious project.
With several species , cost is very affordable and also helping local population in big amount of workdays
More or less 50% of 15.000.000 planted with good variety of trees recovering very damaged areas.
Project sends comments once you planted , even sometimes not frequent information about project progress but enough for milestones follow up and not flood you.
Very recommended to support.
This is a wonderful organization that makes planting trees easy for everyone. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants to be a steward of this amazing planet we all share.
Dear undefined,
We are excited to inform you that as of today, 03/06/2024, Tree-Nation will be shifting the majority of our operations to our Spanish company, Neovee Solutions.
