Miniforests in Schools

BR Brazil

91.5  Quality Score

Our project aims to create Miyawaki miniforests in public schools in Brazil, engaging local communities and educating the next generation about climate change. These efforts are crucial as the Atlantic Forest, one of the most endangered and biodiverse biomes, faces severe threats. Since 2018, we have planted thousands of native trees to support the regeneration of this vital ecosystem.

How can I volunteer?
Hi Ganadev! Thanks for your interest. We post our volunteering opportunities here: https://www.atados.com.br/ong/formigas-de-embauba

They are usually maintenance and planting days in our mini forests in São Paulo, Brazil! But sometimes we also have remote/online spots.

Best!
